last day, dear blog

Hi hi hi dear friends, family and rest of people!! this is the last day that I`m going to write in the blog here in Cambridge!!! it's a shame...
Well, tomorrow we will returned Spain, there will say goodbye to cambridge as it deserves no??
I`m going to write about the last day here in Cambridge.
On thursday, we went to the library like everyday,,blog,diary and finally we finished the magazine,,!!
Later, we had lunch in the library. After that, we did an activity called Treasure Hunting, that it was funny and interesting...finally my team (Maria and me) couldn`t win..but we tried it.
Then, we returned home for have dinner. We ate pizza and chicken breasts with sauce rockefort!!
Later, we went to a social club for dancing salsa but...the people was old so we prefered go out of that place.

We went to the centre of the city and we had free time where we were in  the park listening to music..the we returned home after shopping.

Dear Wednesday

Hi friends, family and people in the world!! Only two days and we will have to say goodbye Cambridge:(...
Well, I`m going to speak about my last day here in Cambridge..

On Wednesday, we went to the library.. blog, diary and finally magazine.
We had to search information about the London 2012 Olympic Games on the internet for the magazine, so each one worked in a computer and after that, each group collected the information.
Later, we finished a part of the magazine, GOOD WORK GUYS!
I have really wanted to enjoy these Olympic Games, so when I will go back to Spain...I`m going to watch a lot of modalities on TV.
Then, we had lunch in Parker`s pieces park and later we had a lot of free time until 17:45.
Later, we had Book Club in the guest house...I had finished my book so I talked about the Project X film.



Then, my group had to cook. Later we had the theme night "Cinema II" and we continued with the bloopers of some videos.

Terrifying Tuesday (o.o)

Hi friends, family and people in the world!! I would like to apologise for having written my last entry so short...I hadn`t got time,...sorry:)
On Tuesday, we went to the library like everyday. We started writing the entry for the blog, then we wrote a bit for the diary and before starting with the magazine, we had to write some questions in a paper about London 2012 Olympic Games . 

Later, we made the magazine during a lot of time to advance the work.
Time to have lunch! Rodry and I found a good and quiet place to have lunch inside the library and for the first time we ate a sandwich with fillers.

Then, we went in front of King`s college for asking the questions about the Olympic Games to a person each one.The man who answered my questions seemed to know a lot about some of the modalities that are practiced in the Olympic Game, so it was very easy and fast.
Later, we returned home for dinner and to prepare the Ghost Tour. What is the Ghost Tour? Each one had to prepare a horror story of a college and  we told it in front of that college. My college was the Sidney Sussex...
 
Also, we had to paint our faces with paint and try to be like a monster or something like that.
After the ghost tour, we took a bus that was not like always, so we had to walk a bit more.

NO LIBRARY^^

Hi friends, family and people of all the world!!
On Monday we __ hadn`t to go to the library so we went to play bowling!! It was really funny and I could fulfill my dream of making a strike like the proffesionals!!

In the evening, we went to a park to play cricket and it was really funny and I had to run a lot!!

Finally, we made the Scrapbook and then we went to bed.!!

Friday,Saturday and Sunday

Hi friends, family and people of all the world!! Only four days and this experience will finish;(
I`m going to speak about Friday and the weekend.
On Friday, we went to the library like everyday  and we had to had lunch in the library too because it was raining ...Then we had free time where we went to the Starbucks Coffee.
Later, we had to be at 15:30 in front of the door of Harry`s Bar door for going to do the punting tour!!
It was really fun and  we were a little afraid that the boat was a bit unstable and the person who was responsible for directing the punt was a friend of Harry`s Bar...!
Then we had a class of Taekwondo with Claudia`s teacher called  Kian and it was really hard and it was very hard for me because I have very little flexibility so...jeje but my long legs also helped me a little to give some kicks.

After two hours of suffering, we went home.
On saturday, went to Ely by train but without Maria and Esther because Esther's parents were in London and  they wanted to spend their day with her.

Ely is small but it has an incredible cathedral.
On Sunday we had free time and Rodry and I woke up at eleven o `clock so we were very active.We bought some things and we enjoyed our free time.  

Thursday talkative (O.O)

Hi friends, family and people of the world!!! Eight more days here in Cambridge,,nice experience of course!! and I think that it will change me some attitudes>>.;)
Well...I`m going to speak about my last day like everyday.
On Thursday, we went to the library to continue the blog, the diary and  the magazine. The time  to do the blog and the magazine was good  but when Maria and I were finishing with what we had to be done in the magazine ... the computer was shut down by chance and we delete all!!!! Oh MY GoD!!
Then, we had to eat and... it was raining and we couldn`t go to the park so, we had to look for a place for eat..and we ended up in a bike parking...people looked at us weird...BAH
For the activity on the afternoon we had to choose between going to a museum or going to Harry`s bar and talk there with people in English, we chose going to Harry`s bar.
It was a nice and funny experience !! in fact, I spoke a lot and I was very comfortable.
After spending about an hour and a half there, we went home and  we had a bit of book club where everyone had to do a short summary of his book.
Later, we had to cook fish and jacket potatoes (very common here in England)

Then, we watched a TV show called "Modern Family" , really really funny!

Later, we continued with the theme night "Cinema" and my group had to choose the bloopers, that there were in the videos where we were tourist guides.

Wednesday a little dead and suspicious, ^^

Hi friends, family and people of our dear world !!!! How are you?? Nine days more here in Cambridge and we still have to do and learn a lot of things!!

Yesterday, we went to the library like everyday and we had to do our blog , diary and the endless magazine!!I like that moment a lot, when we are with the blog and listening to music of youtube, a bit of relax, with x from mixta,please...jeje
Later,we tried to eat inside the shopping centre, but a security guard said to us that we couldn`t stay there and we went inside the library! that`s crazy no? The problem was that it was raining..
Then, we walked to the bus stop and we caught a bus that  carried us to the American cementery^^

We saw a big wall where there were a lot of names of U.S. soldiers ,whose bodies have not been found and who fought in World War ,I remember.A  friendly guide explained to us all and then ,Maria and Claudia gave us a paper to answer a series of questions.
Later, we returned home where we started with a game like Cluedo but ,we were the characters , in my case I was a rich and a cocky man called Sed Raider. First, we had to read our paper and  bring our costum .Before starting the game, we had dinner.
The game was really funny and interesting...and I went to sleep with a smile!!

day to forget as soon as health

Hi my friends, family or people of the world!! I would like to thank my parents because they read my blog a lot and they comment it!!It`s a pleasure for me to know that writing the blog I help my mother to learn English jaja.. that`s nice:)
Well... yesterday I  had a strange day because I got up very cold and I was not very well...
At the library, we were working like everyday .First, we did the entry for the blog and we wrote something in the diary if we wanted.
Then, we looked for a funny video for the theme night..this was my video ..

Later, we had to  look for information of Ely, Grantchester or villages around Cambridge, but it was impossible through the books.
We ate our packed lunch in Jesus Green park and then we had a tour around some Cambridge colleges, like Trinity,King`s,Clare and Saint John.
Then, free time, so we went to the Eagle (Pub) but we couldn`t drink anything because we weren`t 25 years old!! Oh my God! This is not Spain eh jeje

Finally, we returned at home, for dinner and we watched the videos!!

A bit of Cinema..

Hello!! what`s up?? Like everyday I would like to talk about my last day here in Cambridge;)
Yesterday, we went to the library and I had to make a wordsearch and a crossword!! It was difficult homework but with the help of Maria and her laptop, I got it! jeje


At two o`clock we went to Claudia`s university to have lunch because it was raining and I was very cold....

Then, we went to the cinema!! I had never watched a film in English at the cinema! In this case, it was "The five-year engagement", really really fun but there were parts of the film that I couldn`t understand!

Later, we had free time and then Rodrigo and I missed  the bus because the bus driver was very unpleasant
Finally, we rest at home

Friday, Saturday and Sunday :)

Hi! You missed me? Sorry, we have had three days quite entertaining and we haven`t gone to the library...
On Friday we could enjoy a sport day in the park, as we played cricket, frisbee, soccer, a bit of tennis..
Ah! then ,we played  volleyball with a group of people we met the other day and it was very fun!
This was the reason that we arrived at the guest house tired and also we had to rest for the biking route to Grantchester!!
On Saturday morning we had more time to sleep and then, around  two o`clock , we met to Mathew, the guide who showed us the way to Grantchester, in the center of the park.
The experience was pretty fun but there were moments that the life was at stake, especially in the center of Cambridge, as we had a lot of traffic!!
GRANTCHESTER
Then we had a bit of free time that we spent trying on wigs and sunglasses at primark!

On Sunday we started with a typical English breakfast that was very good and then we had the rest of the day free for shopping, eating or whatever we felt like it!
Well, well...twelve days we have left here in Cambridge,it should take advantage the maximum so .. bye and continue visiting my blog! Greetings!

Are you a tourist guide?

Hello my friends! Yesterday, yesterday, yesterday...ah! It was a hard day, because I had a lot of meetings with books... buff, but it`s a good way to improve my English so... I`m happy ;)
The day started like everyday, so, we went to the library and hi computer! Blog, diary and finding a legend of Cambridge was our homework in the first hour. By the way, I chose the Lake Ness Monster Legend..., a classic.
Later, we had time to learn the legend by heart and then, we had to go to a quiet place, where there were a lot of books about Cambridge. And, why did we go to that place? the answer is easy; we had to choose a place of Cambridge and then, in the activity after eating, we had to speak about that place, like a tourist guide. I chose King`s College...

Then, we had free time and we went to buy something to eat to a supermarket and then we rested in the park with a bit of music...

Finally we returned home, to prepare a delicious soup and  fish.

4th day

Hi! Before telling you my wednesday, I would like to say that the name of my blog was an idea of my friend Rodrigo.
We started the day like everyday, we went to the library and we began to do our "homework",I mean, the blog and the diary.Then, we had to search some horror story of Cambridge or UK , but on the internet it was impossible... and for this, we took books of horror and we found some amazing stories.

  

Then, in my case, I had to do a challenge that Maria and Claudia said to me. I had to speak with an old man to know why, on the front of Trinity College King Henry VI has a wooden table leg and not a sword... and he said to me, that it`s because some students stole the sword and put the table leg.OH MY GOD

After this, we had to find information about the Fitzwilliam Museum because we were going to visit it in the evening.Then, I was with Maria Martin searching information about famous people, that studied here in Cambridge, like Newton or Francis Crick.

Then we went to have lunch to the University where Claudia studies and after that we had free time for looking for the museum with the help of our map.

The museum was really boring, for me,;).

Then we went to the library to an English Book Club ,.... I haven`t got words to describe this..jaja.

Well, then we went to have dinner in a Pub ,that was amazing because it was really big and we could eat the famous fish and chips.!

After this, while we were walking in the street near the shopping centre, a boy said to us if we would like to enter Andy`s house that was like an international pub or something like that. 

Finally we returned home , and we told horror stories and then, time to sleep.

third day ^^

Hi! What`s up? I`m going to speak about yesterday.
To start the day, it`s was raining...bufff ; but it`s not a problem.We went to the library like every day and we started with our work for the blog and for the magazine.
We had  a break where we could rent a DVD (Limitless), for the TV time. The problem was that we had to pay 2 pounds,  I think :(.
After the work time at the library, we went to a beatiful park ,where we had lunch and we could listen to music to relax for a bit.Then we had free time and Rodrigo and I went to another shopping centre, where there are toilets and then we returned to the park and we continued listening to music.
It`s was raining; for that reason, we had to go to the library to do an oral exercise.
Finally, we returned home and I had to prepare dinner with my group.We had problems but everything was delicious.Then we did scrapbooking, we organized the things we needed a bit, and then TV time!

Second day :)

Hi! I`m going to speak about the second day here in Cambridge.
First, after the breakfast , we went to the shopping centre, where the library is situated, and we started to create this blog with María and Claudia.Well, before this we searched for some jokes for the theme night and they were really bad!
Then, after working on the blog for two hours, I had to look for some famous people who lived in Camdridge but I couln`t because I hadn`t got time :(
At one o`clock we went to the park to have lunch and then we had free time. Rodrigo and me, had a milk shake in the Starbucks coffee and it was delicious!!
Then we started our tour around the centre of Cambridge, where we could visit somes colleges and curious things of this beatiful city.
Emmanuel College, King`s College, Saint Catharine College, Corpus Christi College , Trinity College...are some of the ones we visited.
We had the opportunity to see the choir of the King`s College and it was amazing!!
Finally, we returned home and we ate salad and pork for dinner, delicious.Ah! and we had to remember all the things that we had visited and seen , and each one told their jokes ^^

Introduction

Hi! Welcome to my new blog "In Cambridge raining cats and dogs"! I hope that you have fun reading my things and my problems....!
Yesterday we were really tired because sleeping for five hours is....bufff , but it isn`t a problem for me, really, and I wouldn't like to describe my day only in this aspect, because we also did a lot of things, like visiting the shopping centre where our dear library, which we are going to use a lot of days, is.
Also I would like to talk about the "Big weekend". It was in the park, here in Cambridge, and there were concerts and a lot of shops. At the concert, a lot of Asian people were singing and dancing because the group was from Asia, I think. It was all like a film, because it was all green and big!
Ah! We also had to ask for a map of Cambridge to a tourist guide and it was really fun!^^
The return to the guest house was good but before we had to wait a bus for twenty minutes, I think! But finally we arrived at home where my group and I had to prepare the dinner.
The dinner wasn't a success... because the soup wasn`t so good and the dessert (Ice cream) too.
Finally, to finish the day, we played a miming game that was really fun!!
